At the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester, the exhibition Operation Ouch! Brains, Boogies and You explores the 5 senses of the human body. In the hearing section of the gallery lies the Dance with BillyBones interactive. This is a motion capture experience in which the user's movements are mirrored by the skeleton on the screen.
I built this interactive in Unity with the use of an Orbbec Femto Bolt camera. This project was made possible with the collaboration of the in-house Digital Experience team at the Science and Industry Museum, The BBC Children's and Education department and Objective Media Group.
This exhibition is open from 14 February 2025 to 4 January 2026.
